Management Group News

What's been happening?:

Well!, while you may not have seen a whole happening here in the forums, boy has there been a lot going on behind the scenes!! We are moving ever closer to the much anticipated launch, but there is still a lot to be done.

After the initial frenzy of GIG ideas and development, we have now moved into a consolidation phase, with thoroughness being the key to everything we do from here on in. We have moved past the brainstorming phase of the GIG development cycle, and we are now down to the nitty gritty.

Website Development

Website development continues as strong as ever, with an amazing amount of work beeing done by Rehana to get the backend systems working correctly. There are essentially three phases that need to be completed, management systems, members systems, and testing.

The good news is that the management systems are just about done and it's main focus is that of security. Some great suggestions on what we can do to make the site secure have come from the Investors Space so thanks to all that have given feedback!!

The development of the members system is underway, and in the background, work on the asthetics continues. I can tell you it should be an easy and fun place to be.

Research and Due Diligence Team

This sure has been one mighty task! Considering 95% of HYIP programs are deemed to be scams, and the enormous amount of programs that are online, and that come online every day, the task to find that 5%, and then the programs from that 5% that meet our requirements has been enormous.

Four new recruits (yep that's how much work there is) have been brought onto the RDD team to work with fxnick who continues to lead the team with distinction, they are:

• jorhyne
• Marduk
• joe32

A bit congratulations and thankyou to them all.

The latest news from the RDD team is that we have been successful in finding a couple of programs, there are some others that are pending some final details and there a million that we have jumped on, kicked and thrown in the trash.


Other News

World Domination:

**insert evil laugh here**

Ok maybe the title is a little strong, but here is an interesting fact, did you know that between the board members and gig officials and helpers we have at least 8 parts of the world covered (sorry joe32 don't know which country you are from )?

They are: Australia, Ireland, Pakistan, Thailand, Malaysia, USA, Argentina and Denmark. This means of the 7 continents of the world, we have five of them covered, these being Oceania, Asia, Europe, North America and South America. That only leaves Antarctica and Africa before we will have true GIG world domination!

**insert an even louder evil laugh here**

Now where will we find out Antarctic recruit from?

How To Join?:

Some new comers have asked how can they join GIG, well as yet you can't!, but I encourage all members to stay active in GT and to keep watching for announcements, that is all I can say

DDOS Protection:

There has been a question about whether we will be employing a DDOS protection service for the GIG website. Well the plain answer is a big fat "no", the costs involved for a service like that is beyond our means at this stage of the program.

This does not mean however that we are simply ignoring the threat of DDOS, instead we are ensuring our management system will account for this possibility, so that if the server is attacked, the payments will not stop. I cannot release any more details than that of course, else it will effect the security of the system we have in place.
