Daily Update (07 August 2005)
Management Group News Why So Quiet?: Don't worry, the MG have not dissapeared, in fact we are busier than ever! We have now reached a critical time in the setup of GIGMutual as a sustainable community. Fxnick has been given a charter to run with for due diligence, I have just finished the design of the new website which means Rehana is now working hard to "make it work". Peterg and fxnick are researching like crazy men trying to find the right programs for you all, and the remaining MG members are working hard on fine tuning the details of the business plan. You can see there is a lot happening, and while all this hard work is being done, there will not be too much to report until some final decisions have been made. The good news is we are right on schedule for launch (no I can't tell you when that is yet ) so keep us in mind for the near future.Website Development As mentioned above, the design basics are now complete and the programming is now starting, I think you will be pleased with the end result. Research and Due Diligence Team Fxnick and peterg are working hard on which programs to invest into. Fxnick has asked for volunteers to apply to him, check this thread out to see the details: http://goldentalk.com/t5886.html Other News Expected returns: There has been the odd message about wondering abou the expected returns that GIG will offer. All we can say at this stage is that at the beginning they will be conservative and realistic. If you are thinking of getting into GIG to make a "quick buck", then perhaps GIG is not for you. We aim to be a program that will provide a realistic return, while maintaining transparency and honesty. If you are looking for a 10%/day return, there are plenty of scammers out there ready to offer you those rates ![]() Logo Finalised: The logo is now finalised, so if you want to see what it looks like then simply go to our domain: http://www.gigmutual.com Thanks to everyone who has been posting encouragement in the GIG area, and those that make reference to GIG in their messages when wishing programs did not scam them, I hope we can live up to all your expectations! The logo looks great! As far as expected returns, I think 10% per month would be much more realistic than 10% per day and I would be happy with 10% per month. You guys are doing an awesome job getting all of this together so quickly! Thank-you.

If you guys expect a large % of profits at the first initial 6 months... please don't. We have stressed out that we want GIG to place the strongest foundation ever first and at the same ensuring every investments put into by the members are protected. This is to ensure that no one would loose. Do you care for a high % of profits with risks of loosing the principals or a decent and steady % of profits with assurance of your principals? GIG is not a way to get quick rich scheme... GIG is here to stay long... Please support the motives and mission... you guys are going to be in a long and profitable journey with GIG.

Hey, I'm good with whatever MG decides is best for the long term sustainability of GIG. Investing in HYIP has taught me to NOT get caught up in high percentage returns and to instead think carefully about the long term sustainability of a given program. Variable interest would be fine as well, most likely starting low in order to prove the system and build up the reserve fund. And then later raising or lowering the proft % as needed and as the incoming profits increase and decrease.

As long as it's sustainable, with as high interest rate as possible while staying sustainable forever, it's perfect for me, personally
![]() There's enough high interest unsustainable programs out there, we just need more sustainable program ![]()

Food for thought - My money market account at my bank pays me 3% yearly, so anything above this is a plus! Just think, 3% per month is 12 times more than my Money Market account, 6% per month is 24 times more, and 9% is 36 times more!

Of course, as high as possible while being sustainable. But, I know GIG will make the appropriate decision as to what roi they deem sustainable and will adjust it as necessary to ensure the stability of the program for all of us! |

![]() Thanks for telling me about GIG, digiclone, though I'd have found it anyway in this forum since i keep monitoring the new posts, but you told me first about it ![]() btw. 3%/month is 14.2 times more than your 3%/year money market account, thanks to compounding ![]()
