It is really difficult to make a living from HYIPs especially for a newbie. You have to learn all things considering this kind of investments, so as to decrease the risk of investing into scam program. And even then, you will not be ensure against loosing your investments. That's why, spend only this money that you can efford to lose.

Judging from my not so long experience, it is very very uncertain. Major question of course would be, how much do you need for living per month? If you invest total of $1000 distributed in several top HYIPs, you could make something like $10-15 per day, combined. You should have your investment back in 100 days or so. $15 per day makes $450 per month. If it is enough for you, fine, if all those HYIPs survive that long.
