Default Your formula to invest in a Hyip?

Each and every investor has some stratiegies and formulas to take decisions. Some of us even can take decision without any calculation but IMO it is good to have some systematic approach. Normally I work on MS Excel and keep my data there to analyze programs. My Excel sheet has the following fields.
Name of Hyip
Username
Password
Date of the investment
Going up invest
Received Benefit
Going up re-invest
For sure it helps me investing further.
On the other hand for new programs I take top programs from monitors and analyze them for risk(Highly recommended,Recommended,At risk), after that I look at my budget and previous profits and then go for invest.
What is your formula of investing?

I haven't think about any formula of investing before but this one sounds reasonable.

Formulas and techniques always vary man to man. It is good to hear that you like mine but I am still working on it to improve it further. In between if someone will have better way of doing so then let us know.

Cool

Seeing as it is always a gamble putting money into any HYIP or other money making schemes on the Internet no strategy is going to predict what will happen tomorrow. The best that you can hope for is a PROBABILITY of what MIGHT happen tomorrow.

So my primary concern is how long will my money be at risk?
Dividing the daily interest rate into 100 will reveal the number of paying days to your break-even point.

Can I withdraw daily?
Yes is the best option but weekly could be acceptable providing that all other factors are positive.

Is the interest rate likely to be sustainable?
Who knows? But anything above 5% is highly suspect. But that doesn’t mean to say that a daily rate of just 1% is sustainable. The sustainability of an HYIP is dependant on their income stream and we punters are not privy to that information. Most income streams will be mainly new deposits.

Have there been any blemishes in the track record to date?
Late payments. Down time. Some members claiming no payment, whilst others claim that they have been paid are all turn offs. But you will always get mischief votes slagging the site off and you will always get votes praising the site.

Does Admin respond to contact messages within the time specified?
Good and timely responses doesn’t mean that when you send a message complaining that you haven’t been paid you will get a response.

But it all really boils down to any HYIP is simply a gamble.

You pay your money and you take a chance.

As Jim said HYIPs are gambling, that's why my formula is simple - "Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst". What I mean by that is I always know there is a possibility of lossing my money, but no matter of that I continue investing and sometimes I get really good profit.

I think it is not good to put your sensitive information like username and passwords in computer, it may be hacked.

That depends on how you organise your computer.

Ideally your OS should be in a partition of it’s own.

I have two hard drives. My primary hard drive is partitioned into two. Partition C: contains the OS. The other partition I use for digitising my records before transferring them to storage DVD’s.

The secondary hard drive is partitioned in to 3 partitions. The major partition is for personal data, one of the other partitions is used as an Amiga A1200 simulator and the other one is spare.

Whatever programme, like Word, Excel, PaintShop Pro, that you use the system very helpfully tries to store the data from those programmes in “My Documents”. That’s a no, no because anything nasty that arrives on your computer is likely to scan all of your OS and that will include “My Documents” but it won’t go for any extra hard drive. So I have set the programme options to store this data in my secondary hard drive.

All my passwords are stored in a Word document as a back-up to Robo Form Pro.

And that brings me to computer security.

Get a decent Firewall. Don’t rely on the one that comes with XP. It’s not all that it is cracked up to be. I use ZoneAlarm Pro.
Get a decent anti-virus programme. I use AVG Pro.
Get a decent anti-spyware programme. I use AdAware Pro.
System Mechanic will keep your OS hard drive tidy and also free of anomalies that might be a ‘new’ nasty.

Whichever OS you use keep it up to date with any updates, especially security updates. Keep up to date with updates for your firewall, anti-virus and ant-spyware.

Get RoboForm to store your passwords securely. Never use Windows password storing facility.

Never ever click on links in an email that claims to come from an on-line payment processor like ER-Gold, Liberty Reserve. ALWAYS use the bookmarked URL that you have used thousands of times.

NEVER type in your password. You might have a key logger on your computer.

Passwords and even user names for emails should be random characters. 6 - 8 for email user names and at least 12 for proper passwords.

Trying to remember passwords like - xcuya5i5mj – is impossible but then RoboForm Pro can do it for you.

Of course all that will not absolutely guarantee that your computer is 100% safe and secure because those naughty people out there are nothing if not inventive. But it will go a long, long way to making it as secure as possible.

Hello rase100,
Sadly there is nothing that I or anyone else can do for you. You’ve been scammed and you are not the first and you certainly won’t be the last. I hope that your loss was not critical.

Your clue not to spend money in that programme should have been the 150% daily.

You don’t say which programme you are talking about. If it is fileinvest then it looks like they have disappeared.

However AFTER 5 days doesn’t necessarily mean the 6th day. It could be the 100th day or the 1,000th day – they are all after 5 days.

Whether you are new to the HYIP world or have a wealth of experience behind you, a very warm welcome to you from admin, moderators and our happy band of forum members.

You might like to refresh your memory of the forum rules at http://goldentalk.com/t7526.html and you can post your comments about them at http://goldentalk.com/t25587.html

If you are an out and out newbie to computers and the Internet these could be useful to you.
http://goldentalk.com/t20852.html
http://goldentalk.com/t20851.html

If you have some time to spare maybe you would consider having a read of the following threads.
http://goldentalk.com/faq.html
http://goldentalk.com/t563.html
http://goldentalk.com/t2510.html
http://goldentalk.com/t2270.html
http://goldentalk.com/t2413.html
http://goldentalk.com/t2504.html

You should find them useful.

Finally a couple of tips on DD.
Go to http://www.goldpoll.com/ or .net or .org. As far as the IE browser is concerned go to the menu Edit and select ‘Find (on This Page) and in the Find what: field type in the name of the programme that you are researching. Just the name will do and not the URL. If GoldPoll is monitoring the site you will be taken to it quickly. Other browser may do things differently so you may have to search for the ‘Find’ facility.

Back in the forum do a search for the programme. Once again just its name should be enough. If there is a thread or threads for that programme you will be shown a list of them.

Good Luck!

Jim
