Thanks for the update. I've already spent my e-gold in a bookstore (mind you the books haven't arrived yet) so too late for me. Nonetheless its good to have the info, just in case.

Before I go through all 60 of them, one quick question: For two weeks already I'm trying to get into HYIP "lottery" and my biggest obstacle is inability to put some money in my e-gold account. Imagine that. Western Union and bank (wire) transfers are pretty much out of question because of high fees, so my only option is to use my credit card. But which one of those exchangers will accept credit card transfer, for rather small amount ($30 to $50) without charging my CC with 17% or higher processing fee or demanding atleast $150 initial transfer, or something like that? I event thought that after I get my CC verified at PayPal (which happened today), I will be able to put the money to Paypal and then ask someone for exchange it to e-gold. Not gonna happen, being from this so called state named Bosnia and Herzegovina, I have no way to put the money to my PayPal account!!! So now I really need some advice...

Hello sinip,
It’s not easy or cheap buying small amounts of E-Gold. Most reputable e-currency exchangers aren’t interested under $100 or even more. With the others you take a chance of being ripped off.

Whether you are new to the HYIP world or have a wealth of experience behind you, a very warm welcome to you from admin, moderators and our happy band of forum members.

You might like to refresh your memory of the forum rules at http://goldentalk.com/t7526.html and you can post your comments about them at http://goldentalk.com/t25587.html

If you are an out and out newbie to computers and the Internet these could be useful to you.

If you have some time to spare maybe you would consider having a read of the following threads.
http://goldentalk.com/faq.html
http://goldentalk.com/t563.html
http://goldentalk.com/t2510.html
http://goldentalk.com/t2270.html
http://goldentalk.com/t2413.html
http://goldentalk.com/t2504.html

You should find them useful.

Finally a couple of tips on DD.
Go to http://www.goldpoll.com/ or .net or .org. As far as the IE browser is concerned go to the menu Edit and select ‘Find (on This Page) and in the Find what: field type in the name of the programme that you are researching. Just the name will do and not the URL. If GoldPoll is monitoring the site you will be taken to it quickly. Other browser may do things differently so you may have to search for the ‘Find’ facility.

Back in the forum do a search for the programme. Once again just its name should be enough. If there is a thread or threads for that programme you will be shown a list of them.

Good Luck!

Jim

Thank you, I have already red all of that and will proceed with due caution. Anyway, I'm not trying to get rich, just some $150 per month to cover the bills would be all I'm looking for at the moment. ;)

Question Where is the best rate to out exchange ?

I have profits I would like to withdraw but the exchange rates are from 20 - 40% . This is outrageous! What is going on with e-Gold? Is there any other legitimate way to withdraw my e-gold without being scalped? Now I know why it was no fee to in exchange!

HELP ! ! !

For some reason the reputable e-currency exchangers have gone off E-Gold and now make horrendous charges. For example London Gold Exchange (probably the most reliable e-currency exchanger) now charges 20% (it was 30% a few days ago) when you sell them E-Gold. Of course they will sell you E-Gold for a -5% fee (it was 0% a few days ago). I’m not quite sure what they mean by –5%. Maybe they give you $105 of E-Gold for $100. It’s a similar situation when exchanging e-currency. Exchanging E-Gold to some other e-currency will cost 20% with a minimum of $15.

It is almost as if they know something and aren’t saying and getting rid of E-Gold before ?????????? Maybe they got scared of the FBI investigation and believe that E-Gold will go the way of StormPay at some time soon. Or maybe they are hedging their bets seeing as the price of gold is rather volatile just now. Maybe the talk of the US government outlawing US citizens from using E-Gold is the root cause?

The way to cash in on your e-currency is to get a reputable Debit Card and withdraw cash from an ATM. But here too you will find monthly fees, loading fees and withdrawal fees.

Probably the best way to exchange your e-Gold is to do a private exchange but that is even more fraught with dangers. Only do a private exchange with someone that you can really trust. If you try to change it to PayPal or Moneybookers and they find out you can lose your account and all the money in it.

I have $200 E-Bullion that I am willing to use to buy your E-Gold – dollar for dollar.

There is no easy answer to this but here is the advice I gave on another forum about this...
Quote:
Hang onto your e-gold for now if you can rather than give half or more to some exchanger...
Price of gold is likely to go up which is good since that's how balance is calculated...
Things are changing with e-gold and it looks like out exchanging could be cheaper and easier in the coming weeks/months...
