Hello to admins/mods
Here is my question. I am registered for a long time, and used at the time of sign-up a nick associated with my website (it used to be www.earngold.narod.ru. The link is still available, as re-direct to my new site) Many things changed since then, including my site domain On all other money-making forums I am using one unique nick + avatar, so that I am easily recognized. Is there a possibility to change my GoldenTalk nick, to be same as on MMG, TG, and my own site/forum? I will gladly provide any references to prove it is indeed me ![]() Thanks, 'earngold' aka AlexaCY

Just forgot to add - the reason for my request is not just a fancy, but a security measure.
Beacuse I do e-currency exchanges on TG, and have high rating (see here http://talkgold.com/forum/itrader.php?u=52941), scammers try to impersonate me and start creating accounts on TG and other forums like 'Alexaxy', 'AlexaCY Trade', 'Alexaacy' etc. I do not want anybody on GT to try and take advantage of users. Therefore, I am from now on trying to keep one unique username/avatar/signature/contact details on all forums. Thanks for response and help. earngold aka AlexaCY

Hi earngold
Moderators cannot change forum user names, you will need to apply to the forum Admin, shark. Please be aware that this forum does not allow user names to be the name of a business, a URL or a website. From what you say above, if I understand correctly, then earngold should not be your forum name anyway and you are correct to ask for a change. Please also note that your new avatar should not be an advertisement or contain a website URL. I do not see any problem with AlexaCY.

Just PM shark and ask and explain your reasons. Although your username cannot be the same as your web site.
Registration When registering please DO NOT use a web site URL as your user name. E.g mywebsite or mywebsite.com. Please DO NOT use an offensive or crude word as a user name. |

You can send him an email.
Go to shark’s public profile and you can do it from there. At the same time tell him his PM mailbox is FULL. |

Thanks but not possible again *emabarassed*
"This user chose not to receive emails" The matter is important to me, but not urgent. May be somebody of you can direct him to this thread, when time allows? Thanks

I'm sorry for this issue, my PM box has been overloaded
![]() Of course, AlexaCY, your reason is wholly satisfactory and I can change your username. Please pm me on talkgold (shark) to verify that you're the same person.
